Thank you for your comment on my Tropical Garden post. My flowers and leaves are cut from commercial silk plants. I disassemble the purchased plants and then cut the shapes of the petals and leaves for the flowers I create. I also change the colors and shading with oil stick pastels and paint. My techniques are more fully described in my blog posts about "Prairie Flowers" found in the Label section on my blog's sidebar.
